[KB7262] Emails have empty bodies or empty attachments after installing ESET Endpoint Security or ESET Endpoint Antivirus (9.x–10.0)

Issue

  • ESET Windows endpoint products cause your email client to remove the body of an email or remove content from attachments in an email

Solution

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows endpoint products

  2. Press the F5 key to open Advanced setup.

  3. Click Web and emailEmail client protection and expand Email clients.

  4. In the Email to Scan section, click the toggle next to Sent email to disable it and click OK.

  5. Expand Antispam address books. In the Add to user's whitelist automatically section, click the toggle next to Add recipient addresses from outgoing messages to disable it and click OK.
